All of us feel we might have “cash in the attic” or valuable items buried in plain sight. Kenneth Jay Linsner ASA, SCV - a recent past president of the American Society of Appraisers, New York, will examine and comment on any items you may care to bring to present for evaluation. Paintings, prints, drawings, decorative arts…just about everything, except coins and stamps, is fair game!! You are welcome to present up to three items for a donation of $15. Mr. Lisner will be happy to advise you if further steps are necessary to authenticate or evaluate the objects should they be of great interest. All proceeds go to the restoration of Harmony Hall’s 1848 interiors.

Exhibit is open Tuesdays 10 - 2 pm; Sundays 1 - 4pm
A historic snapshot of the surrounding area formative to Edward Hopper’s early years. Featuring objects, photographs and personalities of the late Victorian Era in Orangetown. The spectacular light off of the Hudson River was to follow Hopper throughout his creative life as he developed his particular aesthetic and came to be known as the most American of painters. 

18th Annual Small Matters of Great Importance National Juried Exhibition (1:00 pm - 5:00pm)

Jurors: Avis Berman and Elizabeth Thompson Colleary.  The theme for this year’s Small Matters show is Interior/Exterior. That interplay is frequently represented in Hopper’s art, whether it is physical spaces or psychological states. Each artist in this exhibition explores the interior/exterior relationship in an original way.
