Details:

The Nyack Farmers’ Market is open every Thursday, Rain or Shine, from 8:00am - 2:00pm.  The Market features fruits and vegetables, fresh cut flowers, perennials, orchids, pies and baked foods, honey, cheese and bread. A story hour and entertainment is held weekly at 11:00am. Market Calendar includes Corn Roast in August and Harvest Festival in October.

Running concurrently with Max Greis, in our rotating hallway gallery.
As a young artist, Philip Koch was inspired from painting abstractions to working in a realist direction after seeing the art of Edward Hopper.  Since 1983 Koch has had thirteen residencies in Hopper’s Cape Cod painting studio in S. Truro, Massachusetts. On display is a selection of paintings of the interior of the Cape Cod Hopper studio Koch painted on location.

Inkternal showcases the recent work of New York City based artists Sky Pape and Kari Lindstrom. Working within the historical context of sumi ink brush painting, the artists’ practices reflect clarity, simplicity, and contemplation. The resulting abstract images speak to our internal and external nature. Pape moves the material in new directions, and Lindstrom experiments by drawing with innovative technology.

Theatre Intensive Program for Adults- Open to all levels (6:00 pm - 7:30pm)

This is a comprehensive class for adults at all levels.  We will focus on scene study, improvisation, and audition technique.  Students will learn acting fundamentals and form a solid foundation for their craft.  Fee: $100 non-members, $90 members.

ArtsRock Proudly Presents the Eroica Duo-  A Season End Celebration in honor of The Friends of the Nyacks.  Erika Nickrenz and Sara Sant’Ambrogio from the award winning Eroica Duo, come to Rockland County for an enchanting evening of music in downtown Nyack, NY at the historic First Reformed Church. The first all-female chamber ensemble broke the mold, establishing themselves in the vanguard of a new generation of classical artists. They have performed all over the world, from Vienna to Carnegie Hall. The Eroica Duo’s special evening will feature a glorious selection of chamber music favorites for piano and cello, sure to be enjoyed by all.

HSBC Bank in Nyack has graciously agreed to host the After Party for select ticket buyers. This concert is a celebration to honor the Friends of the Nyacks, who have supported other non-profits in our community for decades. Join us as we salute this venerable Nyack institution.
