Running concurrently with Max Greis, in our rotating hallway gallery.
As a young artist, Philip Koch was inspired from painting abstractions to working in a realist direction after seeing the art of Edward Hopper. Since 1983 Koch has had thirteen residencies in Hopper’s Cape Cod painting studio in S. Truro, Massachusetts. On display is a selection of paintings of the interior of the Cape Cod Hopper studio Koch painted on location.

“Animal Life” Fine Art Reception (5:30 pm - 8:00pm)

Details:
The Fine Art exhibition “Animal Life”, at the Blue Hill Art and Cultural Center of Blue Hill Plaza, includes images of animals big and small from places all over the world. A reception for the participating artists is planned for Wednesday July 25, 2012, 5:30pm – 8:00pm at Blue Hill Plaza.
Participating artists include: Robert Adzema, Sarah Brander, Michael deLisser, Vincent Dion, Susan Donnellan, Susan Dorazio, Susan Freiman, Michael Garber, Andrea Geller, Ned Harris, Joyce Kanyuk, Peggy Kauffman, Dolores Keller, John Laurenzi, John Eric Lutz, Laurie Peek, Laurie Lago Rispoli, Bo Sanders, Karen Ann Sullivan, Lydia Viscardi, and Doris Shepherd Wiese.
The Hi Tor Animal Care Center is contributing to this reception with photographs, blueprints, and plans for rebuilding their new Animal Center in Rockland in 2013. Guests will have an opportunity to contribute to their fundraising campaign.

Directed by Alain Corneau with Kristin Scott Thomas, Ludvine Sagnier and Patrick Mille. Isabelle seems to be manipulated by her high ranking boss and mentor, Christine, but the tables take a nasty turn when Isabelle is sent overseas to negotiate an important deal. A devilish satire on power and eros in the executive suite, and an exploration of relations between women in the workplace.
